Where they go
Front door. Garage doors — usually the biggest visual difference on a Johnson County elevation. Second-story windows. Gables and peaks. Fence posts and light posts.
We hang them, power them, and tie them into the same timer as the rest of the house.

Wreaths on a second-story gable are the ones homeowners hurt themselves hanging. We put them up on install day, keep them lit all season, and pull them down in January with the rest of the lights. No ladder, no storage bin in the garage.
